terms of use carefully before using our site. These terms do not affect
your statutory rights as a consumer. By using our site, you signify

We will respond to any query made by email within 24 hours Monday to
Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays).

Passing payment information to us from our checkout page is totally

collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act
1998). We collect information about you only to process your order and
provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will always give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from
us and never pass your details on to a third party.

prior consent of driveshaftstore.co.uk. We do however permit you to
download the information contained on this site to a single computer
for your own personal non-commercial reference provided all information
is kept in its original form with all copyright and proprietary notices

Deliveries
Standard
delivery explained (Single Man Service).
This is usually a single person delivery service that may
require assistance; this could include lifting, when
they deliver.
We are unable
to request that the courier contacts you prior to delivery by means
of a phone call if requested i.e. please can the courier ring 1 hour
before, this is not a procedure the single man courier can carry out.
Standard Single Man All Day Delivery: Your goods
will be delivered on a day chosen by you. When choosing this option,
no delivery time will be given.
Standard Single Man Delivery Monday-Friday:
You may choose morning (AM) for your delivery slot (can be 07:30am-1:00pm).
Extra cost £12.95
Standard Single Man Delivery Saturday only:
You can ask for your item to be delivered before 1:00pm on a Saturday
of your choice. Extra cost £19.95
Please note:
these time slots are dependant on your postal area.
For “in stock” items (providing payment is in full) all orders
placed prior to 1.00pm will be delivered
the following working day Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and bank
holidays).
Receipt of Goods
On receipt of goods, the item must be checked and signed for
before the courier leaves.
If you are unhappy with the goods in any way, the goods must
be refused and returned with the courier.
PLEASE CHECK PRODUCT BEFORE SIGNING!
If you are unhappy in anyway please refuse to sign the courier’s
paperwork as any signature may invalidate your claim and any subsequent
claim we may have against the courier.
For one
man deliveries, you must inspect the goods upon receipt and while the
courier is still at the property, checking for cosmetic damage or missing
parts.
If your
goods are damaged and you have carried out the correct procedure above
see below for detailed instructions and procedure.
Failure to carry out this check may result in any claims for damage
being refused.

of the problem/damage we will then contact you and assist in resolving
any issues you may have.
Our Office
opening hours are Monday – Friday 9.00 – 4.30pm (excluding
Bank Holidays)
This procedure is
designed to assist both you as the customer and us as the supplier as
we insure all our deliveries from when they are despatched to courier
until you accept receipt and we have strict laid down procedures to
follow with both the courier and the manufacturer.
If
you are storing these goods prior to installation the above procedure
must still be adhered to as we have to make a claim if an issue should
unfortunately arise.
Failure to have someone present at the delivery at the allotted time
will result in a re-delivery charge as we use a third party courier
who will charge us.
If goods are refused
for ANY reason please inform us within 24 hours by email info@driveshaftstore.co.uk
quoting your name, SOP reference, product details and a brief description
of the problem/damage.
Cancellations
/ change of delivery address:
If an order is cancelled or a delivery address is amended after goods
have been despatched or collected by the courier through no fault of
our own prior to delivery, a fee will be charged based on the actual
charges we incur from the courier. This is usually a minimum of £10.
Extra Charges
We have a policy of not hiding any charges, if there is any
additional charge to be added to your order you will be notified and
we will not process payment until you confirm acceptance of these charges.
Please note that postcodes shown below will be subject to a surcharge which will be shown on your order.

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 / Returns
Since 31 October 2000 UK consumers now have the right to cancel their
order within a "cooling off period" which lasts 7 days from
the day after taking delivery. Cancellation must either be in the form
of facsimile, email or letter and sent to our address as listed on the
contact page of this site. The customer has the right to inspect their
goods and must make sure they remain undamaged and unused. There is
no way we can accept returns of unwanted goods if the item has been
installed or used. All goods must be returned with all packaging intact.
The customer is responsible for the safe return of goods whilst
in transit to Driveshaftstore. Any damage caused will be charged as
below.

be 10% of the cost of the goods). This can take up to 7 working

Faulty

Warranty/Returns
Policy
The warranty policy
of Driveshaftstore.co.uk is limited to product only and for a period
of 24 months / 20000 km, whichever occurs first, from fitment. This
excludes vehicles in commercial use.
Driveshaftstore.co.uk
will either replace any of their products found to be defective in material/workmanship
or refund to the value of the original Driveshaftstore.co.uk invoice
for the relative product when returned with the completed warranty forms.
This procedure has been drawn
to comply with ISO 9000, 9001, 9002.
The Driveshaftstore.co.uk
warranty forms must be completed in full and returned click
here for a copy, accompanying the product so that the claim
can be processed efficiently, but more importantly so that any imperfection
in the manufacturing of the relative batch can be detected at an early
stage.
Whilst every care has been
taken in compiling our catalogues, Driveshaftstore.co.uk cannot accept
liability for any inaccuracies. CV joints are supplied un-greased to
allow the inspection and comparison to the unit removed from the vehicle.
Driveshaft’s and CV boots should be measured against the original
parts. It is the responsibility of the fitter to check the suitability
of the parts for each installation. No warranty can be accepted for
parts damaged as a result of failure out carry out this check.

reserves all rights to inspect and assess claims on individual merits.
Warranty Exclusions
Our warranty is limited liability for product only and does
not cover labour/fitting, inconvenience, car hire, hotel and breakdown
charges.
Any
product returned with the following faults are excluded from warranty:-
A) Damaged
Threads
B) Damaged through fitment to unsuitable application
C) Missing or damaged components
D) Returned without completed warranty claim forms
E) Adapted, Modified or Tampered product
In the event of
a fault arising Claims regarding faulty goods will be subject to the
terms of the manufacturers warranty but this does not affect your statutory
rights.

Credit Card Payments
We currently accept
MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch/Maestro,
Solo, Electron and Diner's Club cards. Regretfully, we do not accept
American Express at this time.
Driveshaftstore shall in no way be liable for any Import Duty, Local
Taxes, Customs Clearance, etc. that might be charged for importing goods
from the UK to your country. It is up to you, the customer to find out
what rate of duty is applicable in your country/state. In some cases
your postal service will not release your goods until the duty has been
paid.
The best
advice we can give is that if you are unsure of any aspect of dealing
with us then please phone or contact us by email and we'll be happy
to advise.
Driveshaftstore reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions
without notice.
